Senior Payroll Clerk

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Clerk to join their client's team in Fresno. This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye for accuracy and a solid understanding of payroll processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the current payroll specialist to ensure smooth and timely payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Calculate and prepare termination checks in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee earnings, deductions, and tax information.
  • Review timekeeping records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data using Excel.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation and reporting.
  • Perform other payroll-related administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous payroll experience required.
  • Experience using the ADP payroll system required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday, during the first shift. Position may become remote after 6 months in the role.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $22 to $26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This company offers an EXCELLENT benefits package.
